It all started with an intention of practising some water colour. I had a pic of my uncle. I liked the skin tone, I could see multiple warm colours. I tried to bring out his simplicity, straightforward and practical nature. It turned out to be a bit abstract with broad brush strokes.

I wanted to paint light and shadow so I have chosen this subject as it does have an element of light and shadow. I did mess up the face a bit, may be because I lost focus when I came to face, as my objective wasn't to get the symmetry of the face right.
